I am sorry to bother you but is there plans for the zCore Unity Plugin to be updated to support Unity Version 2021.3.1f1 or later? The reason I am asking this is because Unity now has a visual scripting language available on their engine starting from version 2021.1. With Unity now have access to visual scripting this can be a great way to help get kids get more into programming so they can learn how to create and develop their own apps or video games using the Unity Engine.
Thank you and sorry for the trouble,
It’s no bother at all! We have a version of our zCore plugin that is compatible with Unity 2020 and newer, but it is still early access for the moment. If you’re comfortable with early-access and don’t mind telling us a little bit about yourself, your organization, and maybe some more details about the project/plans you have in store, we’d be glad to share! Feel free to contact us at email@example.com.
With regard to the visual scripting package itself, we haven’t yet explored this. My experience with visual scripting tells me that some aspects of our zCore package will probably cooperate better with it than others. At this moment, we don’t have any plans to officially target Unity’s visual scripting capabilities.
